Also, with this additional funding, and the generous matching from @paco , @steggy , and others, we will now absolutely top 10K for this year! UNREAL!! We did it all! Today also added a few new charities to the list of charities! We added, Greater Boston Food Bank, The Black LGBTQIA+ Migrant project (BLMP), The Transgender Law Center, and Food Gatherers! As well as personal donations to Kye and QuyetPaws to help them out! You guys do a lot of giving, and it's pretty glorious!
The current total donations are $7,533.60, and that's BEFORE the donation matching! Absolutely astonishing! Way to go! Ane we will be taking donations through the end of Tails from the Crypt! I'll be running a tally during the movie, and if anything big happens posting the bumps! I like this movie, but please, keep me too busy to watch it. ;)

Food of the gods? Selling the real estate where the god food flows

Clash of the titans? Real estate agent neglected to mention that the old guy's coliseum was linked to a scale model in heaven where the gods play out their schemes

one thing 70s movies are very consistent about - they want you to hate every single character
Well, I feel like every single man in that film was quite enough monster on a conscious level without needing to bring the subconscious into it at all. But it was a very cool concept, and Robby is the best!
Looking forward to reading up on the making of because some of those effects were fabulous. But now it's going on for 4am so the rabbithole will just have to wait.

A hidden advantage of doing #monsterdon :
Last night I had a nightmare about zombies. But just out of instinct I started making snarky dream comments about the plot, the special effects, the acting, etc.
Eventually I just felt kinda sorry for the zombies. To be in my B-movie of a dream... it probably killed their careers.
I mean,
OBJECTIVELY SPEAKING
it probably wasn't ACTUALLY the worst movie we've seen on #Monsterdon. The plot was gross, but it made sense. The people making it were competent, the scenes were professional, the acting was... Reasonable.
But how can you sit down and watch people act out Gene Roddenberry's personal fetishes for an hour and ten minutes and NOT come out the other end feeling like you'd just been dipped in used motor oil?
