Ok, so we have officially confirmed it now that the movie is over.

The "time walker" in no way whatsoever traveled or controlled time. It died once, then was able to be reborn thousands of years later thanks to a fortuitous accident.

That's it. No time travel. Just normal forward motion at 1x speed.
