I don't sit through commercials. I just won't want things with commercials...but this one's worth it...

...as I fall farther behind.

vincent price plays such a nice guy in this movie. i would have slapped this ex-raven's silly hat directly off his head and then chucked him in the nearest moat by now.

"Be easy on him. This part is always reminiscent of Carrot Top."

I do appreciate a movie that understands that candle light is significantly less bright than electric and that you need a really huge number of candles to get decent illumination. Though why they went with blood red for them...

Vincent is having such a good time, and is so timing-perfect on his cues (e.g. for all the overdubbed sounds there that they couldn't have heard on-site). His acting elevates what otherwise would have been an extremely dull film.

Rexford is overcome with a maniacal fit as Grimes was before him! The carriage rocks wildly, Estelle is terrified as four horses and four humans careen along a narrow path high above a crashing sea.

The music, on the other hand, plays the scene along like a merry comedy.

The fit passes as Rexford and co approach a matte painting of a foreboding castle!
