👎 Susan Sarandon did not like the original plan for the scene which was that her character was extremely drunk beforehand. She convinced the director to make a change.

👍 She said in a 1995 documentary* interview, "Certainly, you wouldn't have to get drunk to bed Catherine Deneuve, I don't care what your sexual history to that point had been."
