I feel like we switched from one movie where I had no clue what on earth was going on because it was trying too hard to be artistic to another where I have no clue what on earth is going on because it keeps digressing into comedic things that have nothing to do with anything.

Where did the jiangshi even go? Aren't we supposed to be concerned about them or something?

Miriam was lucky that her Egyptian name was used in the Bible and therefore became recognizable to modern day Americans, she would've had a hard time if it was Hatshepsut or something

The moral of the story is that if you move into a nice old house that has a flock of white doves flying wild in the attic you will some day have reason to regret the headache they can bring about #monsterdon

Oh... wait... I get it. This movie is a methaphor (like a metaphor, but with rotten teeth) for being locked up in a box for all eternity and having no clue what is going on in the world. #Monsterdon #TheHunger
