The premise is kinda all over, but honestly? Decent dialogue, decent pacing, perfectly acceptable acting... There are new releases that are worse than this.
I don't think I've ever seen waterworld before. I've seen parts of it. How does it compare with The Postman?

The plot pursued but the writers were faster! Still, the glowy orb effects were top shelf. Kind of difficult to riff when there's not much to grab onto though.
