The vampire's least known but most useful power is the ability to make everyone in the county spontaneously forget everything they know about vampires. #Monsterdon

"Victim had two puncture marks on her neck. One witness claimed to see a man in a red-lined black cape exit the building, but said he then turned into a bat and flew away, so clearly he was under the influence. Police completely baffled." #monsterdon

#monsterdon transforming into a _cartoon bat_ is a pretty cool power. It feels appropriate for the early/mid seventies.
~40:00- I like that he quicly picked up on what was going on with the pimps but was taking "bread" literally. There was some cartoon around the same time where it was a couple of hippy looking dudes holding guns in one hand and loaves in the other beside a bakery truck, captioned like "Jeeze, it _was_ bread"

she was drained of blood through two little holes in her neck and there was literally a guy at the party in a Dracula outfit

I know it's a movie cliche because we need to see someone has an injury, but if you're bleeding through a bandage, you need a new bandage

Vampires do make more sense as social predators than lonely weirdos. The only way Dracula could get his food to come to him was buying a house in another country. #Monsterdon

So since vampires not seeing themselves is particular to mirrors, but they can still be seen by biological eyes that there must be something very fucked up about the way light refracts off of them that it doesn't survive as a coherent image through a first reflection - the light bends and scatters off of them in such a way that it decoheres. they also don't show up in photos and videos right? does that just have to do with the fact that most cameras use lenses to focus the light? like if one just directly exposed a sensor or film to light without a lens in the way you could capture the vampire?
