@paco That was interesting mythology. He introduced himself as Mamuwalde at the party when he was in control. But when his rage demon curse took over, he identified as Blacula, and was angry at Justin for using his other name. Which really fit in with his having asked priestess Lisa (Pam Grier) to help free him. BUT I think freeing him would have killed him. Maybe he thought he'd stay immortal but just not lose control any more? #Monsterdon #ScreamBlaculaScream

Personally, I was hoping that the "Spirit of Vampires" was pulled from Mamuwalde just in time to leap into Justin as he breaks into the room.

Justin then slaughters everybody, including the now mortal Mamuwalde, Lisa, and the remaining cops.

Thanks for another great #monsterdon! We had Blackula 2, Scream edition with only some screaming but wow was it scream.
we also had lots of jive. Police violence. A gold medal in police tossing for Prince Mamuwalde. vampire lore drop, vampire's can be resurrected, killed , and possibly cured with voodoo. I'm a little disappointed, I don't think the costumes were as exciting, but kudes for putting more vampires in capes

overall a great time!

The thing is, it seems like Blacula had this really easy way to persuade her, even as she's terrified. Like "look, I'm a monster, right? You're terrified. I'm literally asking you to take this monstrousness away from me. Not only will I not hurt you, but you'll make me mortal again." Like, he coulda said "science dude, take a seat. This will just take a minute, wrapped up the ritual and called it a day.

@yatsu Also the whole thing with Mamuwalde finally succumbing to the Vampire Beast Instinct there at the end and THAT being what turned Pam against him. Like, Justin may have interrupted the ritual but he kinda ultimately screwed himself at the end there. #Monsterdon

mm, yeah, all of these dracula movies this month were amazing. i don't wanna say this one topped them all, coz like, Christopher Lee, but the idea of a vampire hunting for a way to cure himself, and finding one that actually seems to be working, only for some dumbass hunter to interrupt the process and lose him everything is some real Pathos that i 100% enjoyed. #monsterdon
