One thing we can definitely say about Planet Earth is that, if it had gotten a series order, there would have been a character named Noonien Singh or thereabouts sooner or later #monsterdon

One pedantic thing I always wonder about in post-apoc fiction :

It's neat that they converted the cars to wood-gas. It's pretty much the only automobile fuel that you could realistically manufacture off-grid.

But ... where did they get the vulcanized rubber for the tires?

imdb thinks Planet Earth (1974) was remade as Strange New World (1975) also starring John Saxon playing a character who wakes from hibernation ???

can someone who went to film school explain this

#monsterdon AquaMothra!

Was that the trailer? Does this mean that the Goth older-sister shobijin's baby dragon mount survive the first movie? I thought it was toasted in the first one, if not then that's good news. Poor guy didn't deserve that.

The Dink's, now sober, have put down the invasion of the Counterfeit Klingons! All SIX of them!

With that the Matriarchy works towards "balance"

THE END

Of the countless #Monsterdon movies, this has been one of them!

Thank you for sharing this regressively progressive Roddenberry err...thing... with us @Taweret ! The younger folk among us now have a better understanding of why TOS and early TNG especially were...the way they were!

Well, that was technically a movie, I think. Maybe? Actually, I'm not even sure.

I'm gonna go eat some garbage frozen pizza and maybe watch some Starfleet Academy or something. Goodnight #monsterdon, thanks to @Taweret for hosting, and see y'all next week!

πŸ¦–#MONSTERDON Goodbye!

❀️ Thank you @Taweret for hosting this gender genre grotesquerie!

πŸ…±οΈ and thanks @cherizilla for the Bingo card! My favorite: "Finally a good plan"

🎞️ and more thanks to @paco for data analysis and @combatwombat for the replays.

πŸ¦–And to all the members of the Real Time Film Analysis Squad: That was a lot of intensity! Have a wonderful week! It has to be better than that future. And remember: Of course I want you to touch me. Dink

Oh thank Pharasma it's over.

This was *painful* but I had a lot of fun thanks to y'all. But it's definitely the Owlbear's bed time.

Take care of each other. Be kind, spread love, watch… something better than even smarmier than usual John Saxon starring in Gene Roddenberry's My Fetishes.

Goodnight!

And so the futuristic dinks fucked off back to their futuristic compound with what someone might confuse for architecture, and Gene Roddenberry fucked off to whatever wet cave he emerged from when he created this piece of work

Diana Muldaur is I think the only part of the movie I liked, but even she couldn't get those limp lines out.

Truly a post-apocalypse story.

It nearly glanced off Creek Secrets on that bed there... ;)

Tonight's feature, #PlanetEarth, from 1974, was .... something. At least it was relatively short. There was also:
