Well, I can't talk shit about @Taweret today, because (1) even when I do I'm only kidding, and (2) This movie was a classic arthouse film, even if a little inexplicable and odd, relying on implications for much of the lore.

So I don't blame @Taweret for tonight's film.

Instead, I remind you that Klaus Kinski is the real monster in all this. A horrible man who was loathed by many, but probably not loathed enough.

Another wonderful monsterdon! We had lots of great scenery shots, awkward dialog ue, relatable plague scenes, off-screen violence, rats! :neorat_anarchy: the cinematography was very Herzog, as was the music choice. I'm sure there's much deeper comparisons to the original to be had too!
