Jason got fleeced but in a good way.

THE END

Sorta. This game of Risk isn't done yet.

Jason has just merely obtained the dependencies. He hasn't even tried to install himself into.power yet. TO BE CONTINUED dammit!

Thanks for hosting this epic #Monsterdon @Taweret I never get tired of Harryhausen's MAGNIFICENT works of art!

The rear projected stop motion technique was pretty good but the loss of quality on the background is brutal.

"If you're not careful with this kind of sequence, it gets to be comical, and we didn't want a cartoon. Bernie's sequence was just perfect for this sequence."

#monsterdon I like how he just tosses the teeth out. Like he's throwing out candy to a crowd of children.

Few teeth here, a few teeth over there...

This would have been a great opportunity to bring back the healing flowers. It'd be a nice show of Jason learning from Medea and using that knowledge. A sign of respect. It would also let the movie reduce the powers of the fleece: it blesses the nation rather than individuals.

Alas.

"In the original, rotting corpses appear, which would not be very appealing and horrific. We were out to make an unusual sequence, not a horrific one. So clean cut skeletons emerge instead.
