After going through the trouble to get a flying chariot, we bail out of it and splash into the sea and then swim to Thira.

Circe informs us that she has no powers now because she's horny4Herc (tm) now and you can only have love or magic in this world, not both!

Terencio

Does the "green island" give them the munchies?

But even if Xerxes gives up her witch powers, she still has her smarts, and her connections at the cool hang-out spots... right?

I think the most amazing thing here is that she fell in love because he threw a rock. That was the pivotal moment. When he threw a rock. Her magic was all 100% up until he threw a rock.

Herc says to Circe "thanks, but now our roads must part" but Circe is horny now and she's like "I'm coming to Thira too let me touch your pecs. my magic will help" even though she was like "oh no my magic cannot help in Thira" before but Herc is like like "Okay"

And then he yeets the rocks into the air in accordance with prophecy and they fly through the asteroid belt because this movie makes sense.

The two goddesses (I think Hera and Athena, but maybe not) decide Herc and Circe are having too easy of a time making continents and fighting evil, so Zeus decides to give Circe a gift from Aphrodite and make her fall in love, probably with Herc, thus causing problems.

To be *extreeeemely* fair, in the period when this is nebulously set, "Africa" could have meant a region on the southern coast of the Mediterranean, not, you know, the whole continent

If Xerxes has to pray for her magic, does that mean she's a Cleric class?

@moira Ah ok. I was stuck on the concept of Hercules books and how they would probably be really short and in super-big print

This is like a really annoying greek mythological version of helping someone get their keys out of a storm drain.
