Dracula, Prisoner of Frankenstein

I'm a bit confused by the events here. It was day time, and the dracula was sleeping, and that makes sense. And the dracula was also a bat and that makes sense. But why was the bat screeching before the hunter guy found the dracula in the coffin?

Was it a different vampire? Did it just screech so much that it got tired and fell asleep?

Anyway, undeterred by the bat alarms, Vampire Hunter Guy walks a few feet into the castle and finds a coffin which contains a sleeping Dracula (it is daytime). He stabs it with a stake and then it turns into a bat and dies.

Really poor security on the coffin there, dracula. At least hide your coffin a little deeper in your castle where randos can't just just find it.

Serious question - curious why the windows are barred? Is it the obvious (so no one falls out), or some other reason? In old movies, which are obviously completely historically accurate, I never see those, but I assume this is on location somewhere and those bars are real?

@culturednyc You didn't miss much so far. This woman took off her boots. Two guys said "HA" to horses. Now some dude's walking in a town, silently.

And we ended the way we started, not knowing who anyone was, or why we should care.

Regardless, we tooted, and spread the pain around.

Til next time, maybe we should make better choices....

Who am I kidding.

Thanks everyone, and thanks always to @Taweret for hosting.
