Whenever we have a non-English film, i usually go for the dubbed version. That way when I'm looking at the screen to see your hilarious posts, I still get half a clue what's going on. This film might as well be subtitled. If I don't look at it, I have no idea what's going on.

Interesting bit about vampire lore. A stake through the heart does not necessarily kill a vampire, but it will completely immobilize the vampire until the stake is removed. And much like a splinter will work its way out gradually over several weeks, the stake can push out over some decades.
