For those of you scrolling through your timeline, you're about to hit a big mass of Monsterdon postings about Critters 4 (1992) and the second, Wrong Frogs feature.

Should you not wish to read through them, here's how to filter them out, at least on the web browser:
1) right click on the gears & open in a new tab
2) choose "Filters" then "Add New Filter"
3) give the filter a title, check all boxes under contexts, choose hide completely and put "#Monsterdon" in the keyword box.
4) Click on "Save New Filter"

... and you're done.

Big thanks to @Taweret for that penultimate gasp from the Critters franchise (I hope) ...

More eggshells than critters, five deaths by critter, two by gunshot, almost smoking (close with a cigar), no coffee. Multiple subplots that could have been more interesting than the main plot scattered about.

Still, it was a movie.

So I can see why Critters 4 was held to be so awful. It spent way, way too much time trying to be low budget SF instead of...you know....a Critters film. Instead, we get warmed over homages to film after film we've all seen before. The result feels like generic brand cereal eaten out of one of those little boxes they have at the Motel 6.
