This #monsterdon starts with a family singing Big Rock Candy Mountain while they drive a camper-equipped truck on a road trip. The family includes dad (blue hat), son (lime hat) and daughter (no hat).

They get a flat tire and then pull over to a rest stop to stop. The daughter suggests building a house on the empty grass which is a thought I often have whenever I see empty grass by a parking lot. We learn the mom is dead.

@strangefour @CactuarJoe @lytta @SRLevine godmonster is one of my all time favorites, and it illustrates how like 5 minutes out of a 90 minute movie can make it an 11/10 movie which is i think sort of unique to these movies. my 'least favorite's are always the interminable period piece ones, but i want to see what other people aren't into bc it's as interesting as what ppl are into.

I am sure if I dove off the edge of a building and fell 2 stories, I would not be able to catch a flagpole on the way down, even if it was in just the right position.

And of course they're all worried "ahhhh!" because the bolts are pulling loose. But he falls and walks away from the fall like no big deal. So I guess we were all screaming and worried over nothing?
