@strangefour @CactuarJoe @lytta @SRLevine godmonster is one of my all time favorites, and it illustrates how like 5 minutes out of a 90 minute movie can make it an 11/10 movie which is i think sort of unique to these movies. my 'least favorite's are always the interminable period piece ones, but i want to see what other people aren't into bc it's as interesting as what ppl are into.

I am sure if I dove off the edge of a building and fell 2 stories, I would not be able to catch a flagpole on the way down, even if it was in just the right position.

And of course they're all worried "ahhhh!" because the bolts are pulling loose. But he falls and walks away from the fall like no big deal. So I guess we were all screaming and worried over nothing?

@jivens Ok. Ever notice that when someone digs a hole in a movie it’s perfect? The corners are 90 degrees, the walls plumb and true, and the hole is like 6 feet deep and they did it all by hand with just a shovel and it only took a couple hours? Yeah, no fucking way. #Monsterdon

We see Weird Forest Guy snooping in the basement, laser submachine gun at the ready, and then credits start rolling as he spots something. Like he snoops around, then points his gun at something then credits play for a bit. Then he snoops around more. then it freezes and we get more credits.

It's like that game where a cat freezes and unfreezes when a camera is pointed at it, only when the cat freezes there are credits.

Critters in a Die Hard isn't the worst idea for a sequel, but like the building should be filled with rowdy teens we want to see eaten or something.
I guess Critters movies don't have the biggest body counts (outside of the Crites) but this just feels padded with far too many characters.
