COMMANDER ADAMA! YOU HAVE MY SWORD

#monsterdon #Wolfen1981

What happened to the color?
#Monsterdon

d-d-Diane Verona. #monsterdon #Wolfen

1981 had better special effects than that. 1981 had better regular effects than that.

#Monsterdon

Mitchell, I know that's you. #Monsterdon

Did they just catch us up for a sessioh zero of the campaign which we missed? #Monsterdon

Y'all, I regret to inform you that this film is squarely in James Horner's self-plagiarism period.

Get ready for everything to sound like Krull and or Star Trek 2.

#Monsterdon #Wolfen1981

WolfenVision #Monsterdon

huh: wonder if this was an inspiration for the Predator's vision in the later movie…🤔

#monsterdon

🦖#MONSTERDON 🎞️
⁉️ WOLFISH TRIVIA 🐺🩸

Tonight's feature was mostly shot in the South Bronx "as is" - using the urban decay of the time as a backdrop with little need for sets.

#Monsterdon #Wolfen1981

Ok, no matter to what extent this film fails to live up to its promise, that's one hell of an opening.

From a key landmark in a teeming metropolis to a derelict expanse.

Atmospheric.

#Monsterdon #Wolfen1981

#rootpost for #monsterdon

#monsterdon oh wow remember in the 80's when people discovered how to posterize video using I dunno some circuit-bent title machine or something, wasn't that good times?

What are we doing? We're wolfen! #monsterdon

#monsterdon

Wolf vision!

#Monsterdon #Wolfen

Wolfen? Wolfen my balls. #Monsterdon

The cinematography on this isn’t bad at all so far

#Monsterdon

@xerozohar You know it :/ :/ :/ #Monsterdon

@CactuarJoe gonna get chakotay'd

#monsterdon

Albert Finney's greatest cinematic accomplishment (having his name appear in the opening credits over a collapsing building)

#monsterdon

There's something vaguely soothing about a building demolition.

#Monsterdon #Wolfen

LEAVE THE BRONX

YOU ARE ORDERED TO LEAVE THE BRONX

HENRY DESILVA, WE KNOW YOU'RE IN THERE

#Monsterdon

#monsterdon 90s album cover cam!

The South Bronx, I believe. #Monsterdon

They put the credits over the demolition scene because they knew what it was doing to their careers.

#Monsterdon #Wulfen1981

#monsterdon  New York baby!

@socketwench it sounds SO MUCH like Horner horns

#Monsterdon

@Da_Gut

You expect me to be concerned with abstract things like "accuracy" and "details" when it comes to #monsterdon movies!!?

That's not how any of this works 😀

Also: Noted!

#wolfen1981

Careful releasing the pigeon with that guy swinging his whistle behind you

#monsterdon
#Wolfen

ok i am remembering this opening shot

#monsterdon

Universe, please tell me my nemesis, John Horner, did not do the soundtrack.

#Monsterdon #Wolfen1981

Uh oh. Hollywood Native Americans :/ #Monsterdon

Aw man, the twin towers. I hate seeing them by surprise.

#Monsterdon
#Wolfen1981

That is a really nice bridge. I appreciate the location scouts. #Monsterdon

A bullroarer which have been around since 18000BC #Monsterdon

#Monsterdon

@cd0 What about Lupus?

#Monsterdon #Wolfen1981
