Yeah I mean it's been years but I'm still dealing with the time I stole a virgin from the sacred temple WAS NOT WORTH IT DO NOT RECOMMEND

#Monsterdon

Thankful one of my friends actually introduced me to wrestling in a way that I could pick up what she enjoyed about it. This film would likely be several times more dull without that. As such, it's instead a neat combination.

#monsterdon

Run, judo ladies! Run!

#monsterdon
#WrestlingWomenVsAztecMummy

#monsterdon ...leaving himself open to the most terrible revenge possible- the tinwhistle.

All right yes we're just going to Time Lapse for 6 months before we translate this

#Monsterdon #WrestlingWomenVsAztecMummy

hey, the pipe guy just looked at the camera! 😆
#monsterdon

Ah yes, the gods punished him by making him immortal. That has certainly never failed before.

#Monsterdon #WrestlingWomanVsAztecMummy

I'm glad we had the boyfriends smiling and clapping, because I couldn't tell who was winning in that match.

#Monsterdon #WrestlingWomanVsAztecMummy

@Configures
Why would it be?

#Monsterdon

In a virgin sacrificing society, it's best to get your freak on, ladies. That's just sensible. #Monsterdon

where they would be mummified alive and eaten by scarabs-- oh, sorry. #WrongMovie #monsterdon

#Monsterdon That lady wrestling/judo match was saucy!
#TheWrestlingWomenVsTheAztecMummy

#monsterdon The most terrible revenge possible: recorder music!

MOAR CAPES

#Monsterdon

Aztec's got dad bod. #Monsterdon

damn how much did they write on that one page of codex? #monsterdon

Wow this Aztec flashback is impressive and obviously the priority budget-wise on this #Monsterdon

nice interior pyramid set actually

#monsterdon

Those guards must feel pretty foolish that they lost the sacred maiden who was standing two feet away huh

#Monsterdon

I never liked inline citations tbh

#monsterdon

Wow, that guy's belly.

#monsterdon

Hello cartoon pig. Hello spy camera, again. Hello 45 Brandy and not Colt 45?
#Monsterdon #WrestlingWomen #AztecMummy

Well, here's where this production spent their money ...

#Monsterdon #WrestlingWomenVsAztecMummy

Are your sister's really are doing it all for you carrying the team again.

#Monsterdon #WrestlingWomenVsAztecMummy

Continue, uncle, continue.

#Monsterdon

@JoeWynne Turned out the first 55 minutes were filler -- fun filler, fun wrestling and costumes, but not really necessary to the plot. #Monsterdon #TheWrestlingWomenVsTheAztecMummy

toot! #monsterdon

hello, sir. #monsterdon

MFer just reading out citations like he's Wikipedia

#monsterdon

How many times does the Loreta/Rubi team have to be proclaimed the winner before they actually win? #monsterdon

I suspect this is stock footage. #monsterdon

this production team whips at crowd scenes #monsterdon

Lost to wrestlers but can still kick your ass

#Monsterdon #WrestlingWomenVsAztecMummy

#Monsterdon 🤼‍♀️ 🪶 🐲 🤕 😱

Fancy Aztec Dancing too!

Oh wow, they put real effort into this flashback sequence #monsterdon

#monsterdon "if you try anything I'll use this whistle here" - another one for the ages

@Taweret What is this, a history channel special?

#Monsterdon

#Monsterdon #WrestlingWomenVsAztecMummy

@Taweret "hey mummy my plot's empty come over"

#Monsterdon

Woah. Aztec scene! #Monsterdon

Wow, boring Zoom here. He's just reading the wikipedia page....

#Monsterdon

#Monsterdon 🤼‍♀️ 🪶 🐲 🤕 😱

Extra props to Uncle Doctor for giving the complete reference citation for the Aztec Dictionary he's using to translate each word

Oh no more fighting #monsterdon

🚨 Mummy soon

#Monsterdon

Wait. Are they flirting with chess? You are annoying, but good luck little comic relief.
#Monsterdon #WrestlingWomen #AztecMummy

Are we getting a shapeshifter mummy? #monsterdon

Science guy sciences, while every other character sits around playing games. For days.
#monsterdon

#monsterdon Suddenly we see where the budget went!

lol page 273 #Monsterdon

#monsterdon Wait... THAT Francisco J Santamaria????? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francisco_J._Santamar%C3%ADa

Just think, only 1 more hour! #Monsterdon

"Aaaaaand take back one kadam to honor the Aztec god whose Ark this is..."

- This professor, probably

#Monsterdon

#Monsterdon no way in hell that book has 273 pages

If we can believe the posters, this mummy is gonna be worth the wait.
#monsterdon

@Taweret He's wearing shades and driving a Porsche along the rim of Niagra Falls. He's *so cool.* #Monsterdon

4 ads yay.

#monsterdon
#WrestlingWomenVsAztecMummy

mm, minor points for what appears to be proper pronunciation of native south american words. #monsterdon

Alright... I wasn't planning on continuing the search but your half-enthusiastic plea convinced me. Oh and there's a mummy and some "Orientals" abound.

#Monsterdon

"Here's your king!" Did you mean "checkmate?" #monsterdon

This was a solid long ass wrestling sequence, I almost gave up.
No mummy whatsoever, I am extremely frustrated #monsterdon

#Monsterdon 🤼‍♀️ 🪶 🐲 🤕 😱

Chess? Pinochle? For this many minutes?

Charlotte, a tall babe in heels who wrestles AND plays chess - that is one healthy stereotype

#Monsterdon

We have to play Chess rather quietly! Not like that NOISY chess.

#monsterdon

just smoking while I work on my ancient codex don’t mind me #monsterdon

@MindTGap That’s exactly what these fight sound effects make me think of!

#Monsterdon

#monsterdon I'm shipping the chess players

"Come on. My sisters will take care of those idiots."
That sounds like the plot of a much better movie.
#Monsterdon #WrestlingWomen #AztecMummy

always a bold move to have a whole sequence of "quietly waiting for anything to happen while one guy reads things" #monsterdon

@fabio in the clip @Taweret posted yesterday, there was a mummy #monsterdon

They're awfully trusting of Charlotte considering they already got double-crossed once

#monsterdon

Wait, Loretta changed but Ruby is wearing the same outfit.

#monsterdon

@Taweret #monsterdon

Lol, the clock! Gotta pad run time!

#monsterdon

At times it is convenient to let your enemies work out their own ideas.

#Monsterdon

@wohali That's not what he's looking at, maybe. #Monsterdon

You know I think this scene of everyone just chillin' and playing chess and cards and reading could've been left on the cutting room floor #Monsterdon

@trixter
Batman stencil effect "BAM!"
#Monsterdon
#TheWrestlingWomenVsTheAztecMummy

yonda lies th' clock uf my grandfaddah

#monsterdon #WrestlingWomanVsAztecMummy

Chess Jazz!

#Monsterdon #TheWrestlingWomenVsTheAztecMummy

That is one heck of a chess set.

#monsterdon

boobs + chess

#monsterdon

What's her finisher for chess? #monsterdon

everybody chill we're getting set up perfectly for arriving at the mummy in 10 minutes, doing all the mummy exposition in 5 minutes, which leaves 15 minutes for mummy wrestling #monsterdon

Meanwhile the other two are playing Old Maid...

#monsterdon

Those are some cool ass chess piece though.

#Monsterdon

#Monsterdon they're just gonna...sit and wait? for him to translate the whole damn thing??

@springdiesel oh dear its true

#monsterdon

The real mummy was those two men getting the shit beaten out of them.

#monsterdon

#Monsterdon 🤼‍♀️ 🪶 🐲 🤕 😱

After all of that, he's not going to decode the codex???

#Monsterdon unconsciously I keep expecting the three stooges to appear

That's right, my dead father's reputation is FAR more important than any risk of REANIMATING THE DEAD #Monsterdon

I think that as much as I like the wrestling, there is too much of it for the movie's own good #monsterdon

I’m very close to giving up on this #monsterdon

Use the codex! Open the pyramid or whatever terrible mistake you're going to do!! Get cursed, don't just play chess!!!

#Monsterdon

#Monsterdon 🤼‍♀️ 🪶 🐲 🤕 😱

I am again super confused by all of the things in this movie.

I love that this guy isn't at all embarrassed to tell his pro wrestling girlfriend that two tiny guys got the jump on him

#Monsterdon

I'm learning all kinds of Forgotten and cursed wrestling moves that we haven't seen the light of day in decades

#Monsterdon #WrestlingWomenVsAztecMummy

Is Charlotte still under the control of the Black Dragon

#monsterdon

The Black Dragon can still get the codex if Mike Pence has the courage to act #monsterdon
