I like that the Aztec mummy turned out to be a little bit vigilante, cleaning up the streets of those Black Dragon gangsters who were terrorizing Mexico City. 👍

And where were the police? Chillin' in their safe house, completely missing large obvious surveillance equipment monitoring them, undoubtedly distracted from hanging with the attractive Amazon wrestlers, when not getting the snot beat out of them by lady judo masters! 🤦‍♂️

I think I'll give this movie 2/5 Wrestling Mummies. I was a tad bit disappointed, as I thought the combination of "Aztecs", "Mummies" and "Presumably Muscular Wrestling Women" was an unbeatable combination, but the execution was a bit lacking.

The best character was the mummy in bat form, because it went "squeak". The worst character was the writer who forgot to follow up on all the plot threads.

You could easily simplify this plot like:

Archaeologists are being murdered while researching the pyramid (and the murders seem... supernatural)

Our squad of ragtag professors & wrestlers & cops? try to get to the bottom of it, while occasionally wrestling

Then all the Aztec stuff (and also the mummy was killing the archaeologists out of spite), you don't need the Black Dragon gang and you can have just as much women wrestling, which was obviously the real draw of the movie

Well just like last night's boxing extravaganza the main event is the biggest letdown and the ladies' matches were the highlight.

This one had everything you could ask for in a #Monsterdon evening. Lucha Libre Ladies, cringy Asian cosplay, ersatz archaeology, a mummy that was ALSO a vampire, and an especially abrupt ending! I am both confused and amused!
