The real horror of tonight’s #Monsterdon movie, The Wasp Woman, is the story of star Susan Cabot who was passed around to 8 foster homes as a kid, until she got married at 17 to escape.

She later had an affair with Jordanian King Hussein who ended the relationship when he leaned she was Jewish, but after getting her pregnant.

Her son, Timothy, was born with dwarfism. He was prescribed growth hormone - which apparently Susan started taking herself. 1/

Man, that was such an intensely Corman film. It had everything, the cheap costumes, the deep padding, the misogyny! The vague gesturing at the themes of other, better movies in an attempt to steal some of their mojo, like a cargo cult put to film!
