I swear the longer this movie goes on the fewer pants there are

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheSevenMagnificentGladiators

Will SOMEONE please buy this villain some pants

#monsterdondoublefeature #monsterdon

you guys I am starting to think this movie didn't have much of a budget

#monsterdondoublefeature #monsterdon

white people dancing

#monsterdondoublefeature #monsterdon

The horses almost won a cinema award for their part in this - they outshine the actors
#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

and the two bodybuilders ran off into the night and got married and lived happily ever after the end
#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

"we did it"

my dude I am still not sure what you did or why

#monsterdondoublefeature #monsterdon

"the gang makes a porno"

#monsterdondoublefeature #monsterdon

heated rivalry indeed

#monsterdondoublefeature #monsterdon

uh okay

#monsterdondoublefeature #monsterdon

this is the first time I have ever seen sword-o-vision, and it's not that good
#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

I feel like these people might be more effective fighters without these atrocious wigs

#monsterdondoublefeature #monsterdon

"goliath" goddamn people get your mythologies straight!

#monsterdondoublefeature #monsterdon

you know what I don't care who or why any of these people are

#monsterdondoublefeature #monsterdon

What on earth is this music

#monsterdondoublefeature #monsterdon

God that has got to be the dumbest costume ever
#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

I was just starting to like Goliath too
#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

considering they don't have a budget per-se the fight scenes are pretty good
#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

whoever invented nicharote's outfit needs to go back to costume-making school
#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

oh no, not dual dagger guy

#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

Lou really only has that one facial expression, doesn't he

#monsterdondoublefeature #monsterdon

@ricci After the first movie tonight I think we should know better than to expect that

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheSevenMagnificentGladiators

Was this made by medievalists?
#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

erotic wrestling was a popular sport back then
#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

This music just says uh, medieval, uh, rome

#monsterdondoublefeature #monsterdon

chariot races look really boring

#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

wait Pandora is just some random person in this one?

#monsterdondoublefeature #monsterdon

Thanks everyone and @ryan for the stream, I never would have watched this one on my own!

#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

@nazokiyoubinbou I was fully watching and can't explain that

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheSevenMagnificentGladiators

grannies and pregnant women with sticks!
#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

that herc belt is ... a choice
#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

Fun fact: Lou Ferrigno has to be dubbed in all of his movies, because on set he insists on saying "Let's see Schwarzenegger do THIS" before every line.

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature

let the morris dancing begin!
#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

Me and my fuzzy sword will defeat you!

#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

oh that dude just got trampled
#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

@allanb yes, this is the one I want to see

#monsterdondoublefeature #monsterdon

so this time Lou is *in* the chariot? such range

#monsterdondoublefeature #monsterdon

hahahah lets make a pile of rocks 6 feet high for each dead person

I don't know

#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

@diazona I think someone is giving himself one

#monsterdondoublefeature #monsterdon

A bunch of people died, time to have a dance party

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheSevenMagnificentGladiators

@nazokiyoubinbou that's really the game-changer!

#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

See this is why yeeting people into space is better, they don't come back

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheSevenMagnificentGladiators

stay out of this boy.. I mean girl or... forget the pronouns
#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

It is distributing me way too much how Medieval this whole thing is, can we just like pick a time period somehow?

#monsterdondoublefeature #monsterdon

which Emperor is this exactly?

#monsterdondoublefeature #monsterdon

@Terencio yes

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheSevenMagnificentGladiators

If you don't believe in draws, how about having a runoff

After all that is the literal purpose of a runoff

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheSevenMagnificentGladiators

@starkraving666 lactation

#monsterdondoublefeature #monsterdon

Now on to https://miru.miyaku.media/ for The Seven Magnificent Gladiators (1983)

Same cast, lower rating \o/
#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

@strangefour @xansteel Agreed although honestly I'm not even sure Gladiators was actually any better

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheSevenMagnificentGladiators

@nazokiyoubinbou I would have got that, but the excitement and stage charisma were all overwhelming to me
#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

@forestine He talked too much! ;-) #Monsterdon
#MonsterdonDoubleFeature
#TheSevenMagnificentGladiators

@nazokiyoubinbou ok, so there are inconsistencies to say the least

#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

@allanb lol yeah but I find it funny that only one was credited and yet he got a number

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheSevenMagnificentGladiators

couple things from the double feature:
- i read this was supposed to be a companion Hercules movie but they renamed him at the last minute. Every time I read the H belt i thought yeah he gets that a lot but his name's Hal
- missed why they didn't like thst one guy so it seemed like they were just mean to him for no reason
#monsterdon #monstermiru

@diazona There were at least a dozen!
#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

"Leper 1" in the credits

that is the only leper

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheSevenMagnificentGladiators

aw sweet, a happy ending

Aside from all the dead people

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheSevenMagnificentGladiators

Well that was neat. Thanks @ryan and everyone 💪 #monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

the 3 amigos!
#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

oh gosh, they start talking to one another and someone needlessly dies
#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

I wonder what space is up to

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheSevenMagnificentGladiators

The bad guys who attack from the back are never armed

It's the rules

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheSevenMagnificentGladiators

props purchased from the back of a Mad Magazine #monsterdondoublefeature #monsterdon

[stab] [gurgles]

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheSevenMagnificentGladiators

Skinning people alive is not as amusing as yeeting them into space

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheSevenMagnificentGladiators

POV you are a sword #monsterdondoublefeature #monsterdon

I mean I think we've established that being "against nature" is not a problem for these people

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheSevenMagnificentGladiators

cornelia and cornholio: the story
#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

god this is so bad what am i doing with my life #monsterdondoublefeature #monsterdon

Oh there Lou goes throwing rocks again

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheSevenMagnificentGladiators

@strangefour I gotta say, I enjoyed the train-the-villagers montage. I also kept thinking "Sew! Sew like the wind!" -- The Three Amigos. #Monsterdon
#MonsterdonDoubleFeature
#TheSevenMagnificentGladiators

Interesting placement of that sword

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheSevenMagnificentGladiators

@diazona ducks, they're intimidating!
#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

Is that guy wearing a duck helmet

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheSevenMagnificentGladiators

I guess when you're immortal you don't feel compelled to bother with silly things like pants

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheSevenMagnificentGladiators

@Terencio well that's true, can he maybe just do that some more

#monsterdondoublefeature #monsterdon

These Roman soldiers have the competence of stormtroopers

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheSevenMagnificentGladiators

@ricci not just you

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheSevenMagnificentGladiators

@tuckerm The log is hurled into Jupiter and turns into the Monolith from 2001? #Monsterdon
#MonsterdonDoubleFeature
#TheSevenMagnificentGladiators

I am bored with the lack of rolling heads

or, I mean, the lack of space jars and laser swords, but whatever

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheSevenMagnificentGladiators

I wonder what the gods are up to

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheSevenMagnificentGladiators
