@Taweret I don't really know but I was under the impression that the corpse was actually Elizabeth, and the lady who got up out of the coffin was an entirely different person (Isabella), just playing a trick on Nicholas. And presumably she must have disposed of Elizabeth's corpse somehow. (ew)

I kinda want a supercut of all the times he said "Elizabeth?". Because it had to be like 30 in a row in the middle there. #monsterdon

Overall there were a lot fewer loud creaks than I was expecting, with my final tally coming in at six (with the pendulum mechanism as a whole counting for one). Seems like the lever that stops the pendulum could've been another creak, but if it did it wasn't loud enough for me to notice. This puts the Vincent Price Fainting:Loud Creak ratio at 1:3. Is that good or bad? Don't ask me, I just gather the data.
