Real talk: Vincent Price is doing an amazing job carrying this whole section of the movie essentially solo, but let's spare a moment to appreciate the truly excellent moving camera work to keep him and his face perfectly in frame as he flutters around.

This place is a scream a minute.

"Was that the one o'clock scream already?"

*everyone checks their watches*

If those painting's eyes don't start moving around by the end of the first act, I'm going to need some compensation.`

Dude. How many times do you go to open some drapes and pull the wrong damn chain? I get it that we're in a hurry. But if I was the one pulling the chain, it woulda sliced him in half. #monsterdon

For those of you scrolling through your timeline, you're about to hit a big mass of Monsterdon postings about The Pit and the Pendulum (1961).

Should you not wish to read through them, here's how to filter them out, at least on the web browser:
1) right click on the gears & open in a new tab
2) choose "Filters" then "Add New Filter"
3) give the filter a title, check all boxes under contexts, choose hide completely and put "#Monsterdon" in the keyword box.
4) Click on "Save New Filter"

... and you're done.

That was an unusually well-put-together movie for #Monsterdon, and yet there were SO MANY brilliant toots mocking it. A+ event. Thanks everyone for tooting along and @Taweret for hosting!

I still think it could have used vampire Elizabeth though

He used to be Maxithousand, but he's proved invaluable to several employers during his career.

That was great, I loved The Pit and the Pendulum. It's got a pit, it's got a pendulum, it's got Vincent Price chewing scenery like he's fresh out of the dentist's chair, it's great :D #Monsterdon

I hate that a scene break comes when Vincent doesn’t freak out while walking through spider webs. Everyone freaks out when they walk through spider webs. It’s like a reflex.
