Huge sets had to be built to handle 4:1 scaling in forced perspective. In addition, the Minion actors were filmed at twice the frame rate. That's why they look herky-jerky.

When filmed to be together in the same scene, non-Minion actors had to move slowly, at half-speed. And there was no time for re-takes. First effort appeared in the final film.

Imagine building and using giant stones - or the giant leg in the hole.

#TheGate1987 was yet another #monsterdon movie that left me wondering how much of the gay subtext was intentional. I love how the demons can't be defeated by throwing a bible at them, but a battery-powered love rocket will do the trick

I think for me, it's that once you use the "just a dream" mechanic once to explain away some weird stuff, it raises the possibility of every other weird thing that happens also being a dream.
