TRIVIA GATE

A large amount of work went into the Minions SFX. 15 suits were constructed from polyfoam. Creature Designer Cook was inspired by 'Darby O'Gill and the Little People' from 1959.

Turns out the mechanisms in the suits did not work, but filmmakers liked the "fascinating, stupid fish look."
