I like how he's come up with this elaborate plan to prevent himself from ever opening the combination lock that holds his asphyx.... like when you're tired of eternal life, too bad, you forgot the combination. The property is now under a parking lot....

I think immortality through imprisoning one’s asphyx hasn’t been thought through very well. They’re not immune to aging or disease, not immune to pain.

Alright, so... sleeping overnight in an airtight coffin that isn't properly sealed but is airtight anyway somehow so he suffocates and doesn't die doesn't hurt.

But a bit of sudden light is just so painful.
