what was the emotional tone of that scene. saying goodbye to an old friend, but also asking that old friend to kill an octopus for you as one last favor, for old times... it maybe should be approaching the "climax" or "the serious part of the movie" where the plot points converge and reach some kind of turning point, but instead we were setting up a last 5 minute "i knew you would do it old friends" in the laziest way possible #monsterdon
