Stephen King adaptations are better when they are based on short stories and have to improvise some of the story to have a coherent plot.
Now that can be messy and add useless narration, but still better than adapting a door stop of a book.

...Gary Busey stuntman, injured! Gary Busey did all his own stunts.

In the film's ending, he was off-camera and ran to jump onto an air-compressed catapult which would launch him through the air and into various pieces of breakaway furniture.

He sustained an actual injury when he hit the artificial glass mirror. A piece of glass is seen embedded in his bleeding arm as he falls to the ground.
