My local Stephen King stories are my brother lived in Bangor and they went to the same grocery store. You’d never know King was famous, just a guy in old jeans and a t-shirt that drove a Mercedes.

My friends went to a horror movie at the Bangor Mall in the 90’s. The only other people in the theatre were Stephen and Tabitha. In one scene, there’s a bookshelf with some King books on it. “Look Tabitha, those are my books!” he pointed and shouted with glee like a little kid.
