@SnoopJ it would have been extremely easy to just put in some bee sounds over the end and have it turn out that the machine wasn't important because they are self sufficient bees now and that would have made the movie way better #monsterdon

So we get a Hitchcock-esque denouement (science person over-explains what we just saw but the explanation doesn't make much sense) AND a heteronormative "actually women *like* being bossed around" denouement. #Monsterdon
