In particular, the Dnyarri are a race of psychic brain-frog things that use their powers to take over entire planets. By the time of SC2 they've been effectively neutralized by the Ur-Quan and turned into their "talking pet" mouthpieces, but part of SC2's endgame plot is that you befriend (or at least, form an alliance with) a Dnyarri that has managed to escape their suppression field and use it to get past the Ur-Quan defenses.

i appreciate how they are willing to share power and respect each other but i think this woman needs to take a little bit of control when the kid is leading you into the dead end boiler room and just sitting on a bench as the hiding spot #monsterdon

I joked about it earlier, but it really seems like across the board every actor is super aware of their arms while they move in this film #monsterdon

I really do not care if they survive this alien takeover, to be honest.

As much as this movie is doing to make the antagonists more threatening and uncanny than the original, it has totally sapped any likeability out of the protagonists

#monsterdon Common core educators often times will just pull truant youth right out of a car into their doom bus. It's all part of the new way they do things in education these days.

Y'know, I was gonna make a joke about how this teacher's most dangerous foe is a ten year old kid, but... I mean, that's not really unusual, is it. #Monsterdon

i know that this is "the whole point" and "everybody feels this way" but it is such a serious psychological weight off my mind when the protagonist who sees something that nobody else sees gets even one person who believes them. the anxiety of being alone is like 75% of the anxiety of horror movies to me #monsterdon
