#Monsterdon Ok, we now have Gamera in hot pursuit of the Gyro not-birds. So now we shoot missiles at Gamera, because letting your enemies fight each other is … uh… πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

@SnoopJ there was one scene where one of the women in the army said something to a full room that the protagonist scientist woman was in, and there may have been some conspiratorial muttering in the school scene ?/? #monsterdon

I can't remember if we've gotten a Bechdel pass, though. I'm guessing we have not.

Edit: we did, the girls in the aquarium if nothing else. And the girls in school just before Asagi-chan peaced out were talking about… I honestly forget, but it wasn't some dude.

You know, for 1995, Nagamine-san is a shockingly humane depiction of a competent woman that nobody is listening to.

Like, no overwrought emotional moments (even when textually she is at her limit emotionally!), no accusations of hysteria, etc.

#Monsterdon Looks like I’ll catch up with the rest of you when we’re no longer DDOSing Internet Archive. I’m still at the place where Gamera decides Kill It With Fire also works on humans. And not-birds.

Is there a pattern to the color of the not-bird’s eyes? Earlier they were white/yellow, but now they’re red. Is this part of the growth, or the gender-bending? Or something else? #monsterdon
