I'll give Forbidden Planet 4 out of 5 polite robot butlers that extrude food and booze. Where is the extruder mounted? It is a mystery.

I liked it and thought it was good, but it didn't completely click for me. I think I liked the wacky sets and props and matte paintings more than the story, but it was neat watching the subtle duel of secrets between the Doctor and the astronauts, where the doctor doesn't want to reveal everything all at once. Also, the robot was cool.

Schary was also the force behind the big budget for this influential sci-fi classic.

Robby replies that he is nonbinary, so this 50s movie has enby representation, even if the enby is a robot. So it also has robot representation.

The Very Unsafe Gun Demo involves taking a gun from the spacemen, having Robby demonstrate that he can shoot it to blow stuff up and then asking him to shoot the space captain, which Robby won't do because he has morality, and the morality circuits make him glow red and not shoot things.

Anyway, its always a bit alarming when the host asks to borrow your gun and tells his robot butler to point it at them. IMO, that is bad raygun safety.
