Hey #Monsterdon I'm only half watching this second movie playing on Miru's stream, but...

This was on an Alfred Hitchcock episode... I've seen a few other things since that I realized came from some author that got adapted for show. Even one thing that was directly from an author who was used several times on it I think even. Is that what's going on here too? Is this from some story that got adapted to that too?

It feels like sometimes that show was just used to bring stories over to America that would have been missed otherwise.

For those of you scrolling through your timeline, you're about to hit a big mass of Monsterdon postings about Doctor Who and the Daleks (1965) and the second, Wrong Frogs feature.

Should you not wish to read through them, here's how to filter them out, at least on the web browser:
1) right click on the gears & open in a new tab
2) choose "Filters" then "Add New Filter"
3) give the filter a title, check all boxes under contexts, choose hide completely and put "#Monsterdon" in the keyword box.
4) Click on "Save New Filter"

... and you're done.

I can't say that I'm satisfied with this alternate timeline Doctor, but at least my vision processor has to regenerate depleted photochems for the next three hours, from all the oversaturated colors. 80% of the effects budget was just paint and color gels. #Monsterdon #DoctorWhoAndTheDaleks

Ha HA, now they're stuck in Rome, what a riot!

Well, that was certainly not what I expected -- I expected something more, like, in-continuity, and without the kind of conceptual mistakes that get you laughed out of DragonCon. But it was definitely, without a doubt, in color!

Goodnight, #monsterdon, thank @Taweret for offering this up for our consideration, and see y'all next week!

Wow that was really bad, really didn’t justify the runtime, I have never seen Peter Cushing acting so poorly in my life, the Dr. Who character is just an old scientist and I really could not engage with the plot at all.

And what is this ending???? Capes?

I need some radioactive swamp water to reset my brain now.

Thanks everyone for joining and @Taweret for organizing

It seems like we stopped the doomsday countdown by tricking the Daleks into shooting their own computer. This works for some reason.

So far the Daleks in this movie do not seem to be very bright.
