The only problem with making a home alone prequel is that there is almost no lore in home alone whatesoever to go off of. but the failure of the administrative state to protect the undergrounders is why Marv turned to a life of wet banditry, Joe Pesci will be barfed out by one of the CHUDs, and if they ever made it to home alone 5 they would have revealed this in the moment when they finally captured kevin and Joe Pesci slurps his spinal column out of him like a spaghetti #monsterdon
