What a great movie. This is by far the modern goji that I would say is closest to being my favorite if not for the power of the original's messaging (which cannot be defeated IMHO)

I was a little skeptical in the beginning but I really enjoyed the way it developed its characters, made Godzilla truly feel like a menacing threat, and had plenty of good drama connective tissue. And even stayed relatively faithful to the nuclear horror allegory, if not undercut it a fair bit with the militarism.

That great Green Goblin truck amazingly was not snatched up by a collector. It was taken to Silent Rick's Towing and Salvage in Wilmington. It was bought and sold a couple of times then was displayed in Uncle Jim's Videoland, in Waverly, Ohio.

After 20 years Videoland owner Tim Shockey started restoring it. Eventually traveling across the US and Canada, taking it to horror and comic cons.

The daughter flirts back by asking to help fix their Klyston transmitter with a comically gigantic wrench. The astronauts don't need help but they let her come just to hang out.

Instead of a sparkly dress, the daughter asks Robbie to synthesize her a flannel shirt to go with her tank top.
