The Stuff has two very believable messages:
1) Corporations will sell you literal poison if they think they can get away with it and you shouldn't trust them further than you can spit a brick
and
2) People will literally put anything in their mouths. Anything.
I do think more movies should end with corporate executives being devoured from the inside by the excesses of their own malfeasance. #Monsterdon
The Stuff is a movie about how many actors clearly not from the south you can get to attempt a southern accent, and the results are fascinating and beautiful #monsterdon

Instead, I'm in the "I regret having this idea" stage of making my own magnets for a whiteboard calendar I bought.

Ha ha - that was a mess of a movie β much of it was ad libed, and the wrap up didn't make much sense. Somehow they had many prominent name actors involved.
Must have been made during a very dry spell in the movie industry, or someone called in a lot of favours.
Just right for a #monsterdon feature though.
Woke up to a headache and rain this morning, so it turned into a household chores kind of day. Took out all the trash and recycling, cleaned out the fridge a bit, replaced a troublesome lightbulb, migrated to a new phone, took down and replaced some curtains _long_ past their best-before date, tidied up a bit.
The the weather let up in the evening so we walked up the street to Atomic 10 for (decent) cocktails and (excellent) tacos.
Missed #monsterdon, but it was a good evening together.
