The Raven

And the Raven, ever quipping, still is sitting, still is sitting

On the dark bronze bust of Pallas just above my chamber door;

And his eyes are bleary blinking like a wizard's who's been drinking,

Kaleidoscope o’er him streaming throws bright colors on the floor;

And my soul from out those credits that lie floating on the floor

Shall be liftedβ€”nevermore!

They killed the castle with fire...but the baddies survived in comical form...but they all lived happily ever after and...uh...what was the point of all this again?

THE END

Edgar Allen Poe is rolling in his grave...which I am sure is somewhere on Vincent Price's property.

This was certainly the most Saturday Morning Cartoon #Monsterdon we've had to date, but it sparked great Joy nonetheless. Thanks for the selection @Taweret !

I liked all the wizbiz in the movie but that may have been the most annoying Peter Lorre has ever been. #Monsterdon

#monsterdon Wait, the line didn't even work.

We all knew it was going to end on that line, but they couldn't even give us a context where it makes sense!

Erasmus is triumphant for some reason! Scarabus crumples to the floor, Lenore proclaims her delight at Erasmus's victory & tries to worm her way back into Erasmus's affections. The uncontrolled fire & architectural damage wrought be the wizarding duel pull down the castle around Scarabus and Lenore as Estelle, Erasmus, Rexford, and Birdlo Scooby-Doo/Super Metroid their way out of the collapsing structure. Now outside, they look back at the matte painting now engulfed in flames.

Come everyone! The Masque of the Red Death isn't far from here. It's a much better film; we'll be safe there
