Okay, astronaut getting up and ominously staggering towards sleeping wife while the two guys are obliviously nattering in the background was pretty good (albeit short)

I thought for sure she was going to scream, but no. They broke all the rules in this film.

๐Ÿ‘€ Keep your eye on Richard Wordsworth, the guy cast by Val Guest as the hapless Victor Carroon because "he had the right sort of face for the part".

His performance is frequently compared with that of Boris Karloff in Frankenstein (1931).

Guest directed Wordsworth to "hold back just a mite of what you're feeling". That way the role would not be overplayed. (Wordsworth had been working in the theater.)

haven't we seen this lab with glass doors in another film recently? the one where the crappy scientist was having an affair with the woman who ended up spreading the contagion around the country?

Why have a mix of American and British characters, in a film partly marketed to Americans, if you're not going to do an unfunny "prim and proper Brits vs. American who plays by his own rules" bit throughout?

Do any animals have finger prints other than koalas (which are apparently close enough to human like to get her them confused)? So how would fingerprints look not human at all?

I don't know enough about this and might be totally wrong!
