@MichaelKlamerus 🎉

There are definitely people who participate by watching and/or reading without posting at all! It's all good.

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheFleshAndTheFiends

Not sure what to make of that ending TBH.

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheFleshAndTheFiends

Ok, this is mathematically bound to be better than the last film

#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

@diazona What we need is Dr. Who as a psychopathic mass-murderer

#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

School of hard Knox

#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

It's never too late to apologize to the dead

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheFleshAndTheFiends

Thanks everyone and @miru for hosting! You were on-point!
#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

@diazona I've given-up on mind-cleansing for tonight. Just playing train sim in another window so I can sleep

#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

A rotting corpse that still blinks

#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

two men showing up with a stiff sounds like they found the wrong address

#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

Already a more interesting doctor in this movie

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheFleshAndTheFiends

Thanks @ryan for the stream :) #monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

I wonder why Dr. Knox cares about his reputation all of a sudden?

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheFleshAndTheFiends

@strangefour I know I was thinking the same

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheFleshAndTheFiends

Wow look at all the extras! I'm impressed!

#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

Yes let's just have a murder suspect examine the evidence

I will have to mind-cleanse with some more pleasant murder investigation after this (Psych)

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheFleshAndTheFiends

Hang the fuckers!
#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

Cinematography is nice, acting is good.

Dull and simultaneously disturbing, a real achievement of an all-around feel-bad kinda vibe.

#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

I guess this movie acquired a modicum of plot when I wasn't looking

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheFleshAndTheFiends

@diazona @paco @strangefour But the acting is pretty good. Creepy Donald Pleasence. And Mary / Billie Whitelaw later became the muse of Samuel Beckett. And last acted in Hot Fuzz. #monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

@paco @strangefour eh personally I would say this one is so uninteresting (and occasionally disturbing) that even if you like boobs in your movies that doesn't save it

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheFleshAndTheFiends

@strangefour what a weekend to miss… #monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

"law-courts"

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheFleshAndTheFiends

Reminds me of some Mexican films from the same era

#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

There is no way a movie about black-market corpse trading should be this boring

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheFleshAndTheFiends

The fire is instantly my favorite character in this movie

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheFleshAndTheFiends

Ah yes, the suffocating-someone-possibly-yourself dance

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheFleshAndTheFiends

"12 o'clock and all's well."

I doubt that.

#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature #TheFleshAndTheFiends1960

I wonder what the doctor is up to

Doctor Who I mean

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheFleshAndTheFiends

lol this is awkward even for fictional-universe small talk

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheFleshAndTheFiends

@strangefour I believe that was basically The Asphyx 😛

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheFleshAndTheFiends

Apparently the real Burke was hanged for his serial killing and his skeleton preserved and displayed to this day in Edinburgh. https://biomedical-sciences.ed.ac.uk/anatomy/anatomical-museum/collection/people/burke #monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

I don't think Donald Pleasance has ever played a character that didn't creep me the fuck out.

#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature #TheFleshAndTheFiends1960

What timeline did I slip into where a Peter Cushing-infused black and white film has actual tiddies on screen?

#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature #TheFleshAndTheFiends1960

Of course the end of the movie is a perfect metaphor for how we still let powerful people get away with theft and murder and they get applauded for it

I am disappoint

Still, thanks @ryan for hosting and everyone for posting! Time to move on to happier forms of entertainment, accompanied by food 😀 See y'all next week!

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheFleshAndTheFiends

Would anybody in this angry mob be interested in some offing of a head?

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheFleshAndTheFiends

"A decent pair of trousers, since I soil't mine, ye see...". #monsterdondoublefeature #monsterdon

oooh they really had not figured out hanging technology in 1828 huh

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheFleshAndTheFiends

Wow that is some face acting #monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

@strangefour Seems like it just had to let go of its reticence to killing people

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheFleshAndTheFiends

Now it's like Clockwork Orange - but predictable
#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature

Hah they had such elegant ways of saying "GTFO" in the old days

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheFleshAndTheFiends

*I* would like to talk about more fire

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheFleshAndTheFiends

So if all was not well would it not be 12 o'clock

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheFleshAndTheFiends

@strangefour I mean I definitely get why you'd think that... it surprises me as well

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheFleshAndTheFiends

@strangefour Hays Code? It seems this was from the later years of when the code was active (1934-1968, and this movie is from 1960)

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheFleshAndTheFiends

This guy is terrible in a fight

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheFleshAndTheFiends

"From a gangly schoolgirl to this. You look quite wonderful girl. A tribute to french cooking" Dude.
#monsterdon #monsterdondoublefeature #thefleshandthefiends

Huh so emotion is a drug that dulls the intellect

can I get some please

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonDoubleFeature #TheFleshAndTheFiends
