#TheDunwichHorror1970 was not so much cosmic as tantric horror. Lots of deep breathing, strange visualizations, much attention paid to the journey, and a near total lack of tentacular climax. Though the original material is not quite enough for a full length movie, rather than add a lot of invention, they took it slowly with a confidence in their film making that I kind of admire.

For a #Monsterdon , it was pretty good.

So, aside from the Dunwich locals subplots dragging pacing down, and maybe how abrupt the ending is, this is basically a perfect film. Howie might be a bit upset at some of the liberties taken, but it's in the mythos.

Which is shocking out of a Roger Corman-produced film.
