@mdhughes For me crazy Jimmy Smits and crazy Doc with a lightbulb on his head almost balance out. Tommyknockers does work slightly better as horror though, but it has more run time.

It's not often that #monsterdon provides a Canadian tuxedo, but that's what we get for venturing into the 90s.

This was waaaay better than I expected from my vague memories of it as a kid. Then again mosty of what I recalled was the Seedpeople monster puppets, and in a few weeks that is probably all I will think about once again. But solid 3/5.

Derivative enough that there's no novelty value in bizarre writing;
competently executed enough that you're not kept on your toes by bizarre decisions.
