"If the tower is destroyed will continue to broadcast from other facilities!" <--so, no stakes really. Tower can go.

#monsterdon thanks for trying to rescue us, kid. But Mothra's already going to do it, and probably kill you in the process, so... bye

That's how you get either Moses, or Santa Claus, depending on the nearest season and holiday set.

I'm not a biologist but I didn't think caterpillars hatched from eggs.
(Edit: Calcified oblong eggs like a bird or snake was what I had in mind, but yes the do come from eggs.)

Because the Faeries won't stop singing their Kaiju summoning song, the evil Russamericans are trying the shoebox plan and put a glass box around the faeries to hopefully hide them from Mothra.

These are the most detailed and intricate miniature effects work of any Toho production up until that point.

Japanese fans were treated to the Mothra larva traveling through known Tokyo neighborhoods: Ome Kaido, Dogenzaka, and Shibuya, depicted in massive sets built at a 1/20 scale.

Anyone know what all the planes in this movie are? I think the fighter jets are F-86 Sabres, but I'm not sure what the things uselessly dropping depth charges on Mothra are.

Does anyone want to even guess as to how they put together such elaborate teeny tiny dresses and jewelry? No? Nah, me neither.

To be fair, just saying how you want things to be and grinning evilly has a pretty good track record for this guy. #Monsterdon

Nothing can stop her now?

Uh what if we take you back where you belong? No? We're not gonna just posit the most obvious solution. Okay.

#monsterdon It's funny how Japanese movies are completely willing to give monsters a name. One person mentions the monster's name, and suddenly that's the official name being used by everybody.

In a USAian movie they'd all be saying things like "The unidentified life-form."

You'd think a tiny set could be more extravagant
