In the category of Watching Grown-ups Play Dolls With Sci Fi Action, I give 5 out of 5 stars to #InvasionUFO . So many lovingly designed miniatures, sets, costumes, hairstyles, and killer makeup. So little interest in plot, character, emotion, and human expression. Even though Gerry Anderson productions seem directed at kids, some scenes take weird twists into dark territory. I mean who would cap a massive space battle with a funeral for a character we barely remember?

Anyway, while the original 1970 TV series UFO is _very_ uneven - it has some great episodes and some _real_ stinkers - I would recommend even the worst episodes of that _well_ above this nonsense.

So for a lot of movies I can understand why the creators thought the end result was pretty okay, even if they were badly mistaken.

But in this case I genuinely start to wonder about tax dodge schemes or dares, or some form of malicious compliance to a contract or something.
