I mean I have no problem with tentacle hentai that's being honest with itself about what it is, but I distinctly remember The Guyver being a mainstream phenomenon that you weren't *allowed* to dislike if you were "into" anime or manga, and it's a big part of why I ick'd out of both of them for a long, long time. Along with Akira. #Monsterdon #MonsterdonTripleFeature #GuyverOutOfControl1986

It would be an interesting property for a super suit, if you could put it on over your clothes or without clothes but it's more comfortable the latter way

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonTripleFeature #GuyverOutOfControl1986

Still confused about why Valcuria's clothes were removed when putting on the Guyver suit but Sho's weren't

I mean, in-universe it makes no sense. Out-of-universe it's really not a mystery.

In the first two movies the Guyvers seemed woefully inadequate to destroy a government

I think Guyver-Sho has grown since he put the suit on

or since it put itself on him

There will always be something weird to me about Japanese characters with those giant anime eyes

#Monsterdon #MonsterdonTripleFeature #GuyverOutOfControl1986

@crowbriarhexe At least it's fully Japanese

#Monsterdon #Monsterdondoublefeature

@strangefour I'd agree with that

Already the production values are light years ahead of anything else we've seen tonight #Monsterdon #MonsterdonTripleFeature #GuyverOutOfControl1986

The Zoanoids are scarier in animation

or maybe it's just that seeing one busting out spontaneous raps ruined the effect of the live-action Zoanoid suit for me

"Emotion" with a logo of faces that are literally made of stone

Pretty sure I'm addicted at this point
