For those of you scrolling through your timeline, you're about to hit a big mass of Monsterdon postings about It! The Terror From Beyond Space.
Should you not wish to read through them, here's how to filter them out, at least on the web browser:
1) right click on the gears & open in a new tab
2) choose "Filters" then "Add New Filter"

I still think the over-the-shoulder of a shadow that was implied to be the monster but turned out to be the shadow of the first victim was clever cinematography and maybe the best shot in the film
See, the problem here was this movie takes place in 1973, before the release of Hunt for Red October.
Nobody warned them there were things in their nuclear space ship that wouldn't react well to bullets.
But, they should be smart enough to know better than to fire that goddamned bazooka tho. Right?
