Damn it, I had decided how I felt about the film and they had to pull the rug out from under me like that. I mean, I hated it, but I have to give credit where it's due, that was a pretty good troll.

That was a great looking movie. The set design, the eerie glow of the saucers, the aliens, the strangely gothic winding path up the hill, the condom hall. The military stuff let it down in the middle but it came back strong.
