He is super grumpy, demands coffee and then does a domestic violence on the kid. Also there is a scar on the back of his neck, meaning he is a space zombie or possessed by evil space parasites.

The cops walk around bit and are about to give up to eat donuts or whatever then they find the disappeared father's shoe and so are forced to work harder. #monsterdon #InvadersFromMars after some credits, this movie starts with a voiceover of a guy explaining what space is, but weirdly over a background of stars with an unusual number of blue planets.

When then zoom in on a rural or suburban bedroom, where a child has a telescope and is I guess a miniature scientist. He set his alarm for 4am so he could look at a telescope. This woke his dad up by mistake, but his dad also thinks space is super cool because they are both science masters.

I thought this movie was about the Commie threat but here we are talking about Martians #monsterdon

Not thrilled with the ending but since there were two, guess you can choose which version is your head cannon. Otherwise, thought that one was a hoot!

That was a great looking movie. The set design, the eerie glow of the saucers, the aliens, the strangely gothic winding path up the hill, the condom hall. The military stuff let it down in the middle but it came back strong.
