ok i checked it out... the archive.org copy has a few extra scenes in it but it's going slightly faster than the tubi version, so i keep getting ahead of y'all slightly but i guess eventually i'll be watching a totally different movie #monsterdon

That Bob Mantel thing is an actual UFO case.

...But what happened was that he misidentified a weather balloon, tried to follow it up too high, passed out and crashed. :/ #Monsterdon

Reminds me of that graph about reports of UFO sightings dropping precipitously with the advent of camera phones. Not that I can find it right now (and I just missed the last two or three minutes of the movie trying to find it)
