It's becoming more and more clear to me how and why I never actually got around to seeing the original productions of of #gojira, #cabaret, #theproducers, and other "Never Again" anti-war movies/plays/musicals/other art until now as an adult, because I had no idea that's what they were and there sure is a vested interest in that #monsterdon

One of Akihiko Hirata's late roles is a scientist in a basement lab in Terror of Mechagodzilla (1975). In that one he really goes for the wacky mad scientist. It's a little jarring if you've seen this one. #Monsterdon
